This aligns with the groundbreaking launch of the “Dubai Green Economy Partnership” by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a transformative initiative to foster sustainable and green growth within Dubai’s economy and elevate its role in the global green value chain for clean technologies and sustainable consumption.
With the blessings and guidance of Sheikh Hamdan and UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this venture takes flight. Sheikh Hamdan has urged stakeholders to uphold Dubai’s standing among nations championing sustainable green growth, leveraging the city’s strategic location as a key regional and international hub for emerging markets, finance, and trade to widely adopt and deploy green and clean technologies. He emphasized that this program resonates with the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 and the UAE Green Economy strategy, launched in January 2012 under Sheikh Mohammed’s theme “Green Economy for Sustainable Development.”
Sheikh Hamdan highlighted that the initiative will propel sustainable development across the UAE, fostering unprecedented public-private sector collaboration and creative synergy. The Dubai Green Economy Partnership seeks to unlock new commercial opportunities by facilitating the seamless integration of technologically and ecologically proven solutions, promoting best practices in resource optimization, and conserving the environment and natural resources—principles that FuelUp embodies in its hybrid energy model under Sheikh Afra Maktoum’s sustainable vision.
